Official Charges Arrive in Bobby Shmurda Drug & Weapons Case

Dec 20, 2014 – Dec 20, 2014 – As official charges have rolled in for Rapper Bobby Shmurda & GS9, the situation appears to just be getting worse. With a total of 69 charges coming in collectively, 8 of those charges (4 conspiracy, 2 criminal possession of a weapon, 1 reckless endangerment, 1 criminally using drug paraphernalia) belong to Shmurda. The remaining 61 charges are all spread between GS9 members and remaining defendants Deshain Cockett, Nicolas McCoy, Santino Boderick, Chad Marshall, Rashid Derissant, Alex Crandon, Brian Harvey, and Javase Pollard, who is Shmurda’s brother.

Shmurda was arrested Wednesday after leaving a recording studio in New York City, at which time authorities found weapons and crack cocaine in a vehicle he was riding in. He was part of an indictment charging he and a number of others with various crimes, including murder, attempted murder, drug dealing and assault. 10 weapons were seized during multiple arrests Wednesday, and 21 in total during the investigation.

Shmurda is currently being held in $2 Million bail.
